This dreamy Belle Epoque necklace exhibits the sublime beauty of natural pearls, enhanced by a generous serving of dazzling antique diamonds. A fabulous baroque pearl is the heart of the pendant. Diamond-set ribbons and flower petals swirl around the lustrous pearl, and a second pearl hangs from the pendant's base. The wonderful old mine cut diamonds have a .95tcw, with SI clarity and H-J color. The gems are set in engraved platinum layered over 14k yellow gold. A matching bale suspends the pendant from a platinum chain with tiny pearl stations. The pendant has a c-clasp pin; it may be worn as a brooch. Airy yet opulent and overtly feminine, as all Belle Epoch jewels are, circa 1890.
