The central largest diamond is a chunky old mine cushion cut. It sits in a square frame flanked vertically by diamond-set triangles??ten sparkling accent diamonds embellish the body of the brooch. Six French-cut lab-created sapphires flank the center stone horizontally and set in engraved channels. The brooch fastens with a rollover clasp and a safety slide for added security. Architectural yet romantic, this delicate piece is the perfect weight for a blouse or light knit. Circa 1920.
