This marvelous brooch from Georg Jensen (or a very similar example) can be seen in the book Georg Jensen Jewelry by Isabelle Anscombe. Design #20, the brooch depicts three curling leaves rendered in sterling silver. The detail is lovely, with relief sculpting and a lush stippled texture that brings the leaves to life. It has a convex curve that plays with the light. Marked on the back "925 S Denmark Georg Jensen 20." A rare and beautiful piece of jewelry history. Circa 1933-1944.
